DESCRIPTION

A perfectly balanced cognac, remarkable for its rich fruit notes and its combination of delicacy and aromatic power, aged in red fine-grained oak barrels. Martell VSOP is an authentic expression of the Martell Style: the fact that the fine-grained oak barrels are not new but pre-aged means that their tannins are even less pronounced, respecting the delicacy of Martells Eaux-de-Viet.

To the Eye – Warm Copper colour with glints of gold, giving it a uniquely luminous appearance.

On the Nose – Round and fresh bouquet, run through by intense fruity notes. In motion, aromas gain depth, with fleshier fruits such as apricot or vine peach chiming in.

In the Mouth – Intense aromas of luscious yellow fruit – Mirabelle plum, greenage, apricot and vine peach with subtle hints of wood and soft spices.
